And if that’s not enough, you can challenge your friend in a round of Mixed Match, where you play two variants of Tetris with a round of Dr. Mario in the middle within a time-limit to see who has the real puzzle skills. Since I posted my Top-10 Sega Mega Drive games, I decided that I should also update my list of Top-10 Super Nintendo games.

A Guide To No-Hassle GBA Roms Products

The SNES wasn’t perhaps my absolute favourite Nintendo system, but it had its share of timeless hit games. I honestly can’t say enough good things about the Donkey Kong Country series. All three games (the Wii one doesn’t count) were phenomenal and excelled in almost every department. The gameplay was fantastic, the graphics looked years beyond anything I had ever seen gamecube emulator before and the music – oh my god the music was incredible! I almost didn’t put this game on the list as I generally associate Mario Bros. 1 – 3 with the NES not the SNES but there’s one key thing that makes the SNES versions vastly superior… save slots!

I could probably go on for hours how much I love this game, but I’ll not subject you to that in this video – Regardless, it’s just amazing and an ever popular part of the system’s software library. Yoshi’s Island and Super Metroid almost but didn’t make this list. Growing up I had a NES, Genesis, Playstation, Playstation 2, Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. Needless to say, I totally missed out on the SNES and the majority of its games. I’ve looked at “best SNES games” lists, but they tend to vary and I can’t play everything so I’m hoping some ERA members will be able to shine light on some gems less mentioned.

The block mechanics and the intesifying music get your adrenaline pumping. No matter how many puzzle games I play, none of them can beat Tetris Attack. Not just because it uses Yoshi characters, but also because it has an excellent story-mode which is a nice switch from the typically boring Vs-Com gameplay of most other puzzle titles. First, you have Tetris – an extremely addicting game that’s hard to stop once you’ve started. Then you have Dr. Mario, Nintendo’s own classic puzzle game with that cartoony appeal and brilliant music which might be even harder for me to stop.

I already know to play Super Mario World, A Link to The Past and Super Metroid. Underneath it’s super cute exterior though, Tetris Attack is an intense puzzler.
